International Congress Arsenic in the Environment 2016 (As2016)
The "6th International Congress Arsenic in the Environment (As2016)" took place from 19th to 23rd June 2016 at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the Swedish capital. Organized by the ISGSD, the conference is one of the most important international scientific exchange events on arsenic in the environment. In addition to the occurrence and health significance of arsenic in drinking water and in the food chain, innovative treatment technologies for arsenic removal were a major focus of the congress. Our research director Dr. Ing. Bahr explained in his conference paper the optimization strategies that have been successfully applied in the use of GEH in the Iranian waterworks Bardsir (Kerman). In the accompanying exhibition, current research results were discussed intensively and many new contacts were made at GEH Wasserchemie's booth.
